The Nutcracker Ballet
The Nutcracker is a famous two-act ballet with music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, first performed in 1892. It’s based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Today, The Nutcracker is one of the most popular ballets in the world, often performed during the holiday season.

Insider Information
For Dew Drop Fairy, I envisioned the Dew Drop Fairy as a living flower with an abstract touch. The bodice was shaped to resemble a delicate stem, while the tutu represented petals in layered shades of vibrant mint green and soft light purple.
For Peppermint Princess, I was inspired by the iconic swirl of peppermint candies, rather than the traditional plain striped motif. To capture the effect, I carefully mapped and hand-drew the swirling patterns directly onto the dancer’s form, ensuring accuracy, and movement.
